- Green Card application help
- Tax filing assistance
- After-school care program tutors and care providers
- Facilities improvement - structural and decorative
- English language helpers
- Golden Door Guides (volunteer mentors)
- Transportation providers (drivers)
- Vehicle maintenance
- Special interest speakers and/or tutors.
Interested volunteers may speak in person or create a video/presentation to be shared electronically with our clients. Translation assistance will be provided as needed. Examples include but are not limited to the following:
- Gardening
- Landscaping
- Home maintenance
- Farming
- Raising livestock
- Fishing
- Second-hand shopping - thrift stores, garage sales, estate sales, Facebook
marketplace, Craiglist, buy nothing groups, and more
